Walking towards Jesus 14 - I want to change but I can’t

First of all let me tell you that if you continue to confess those words, you will truly never change, since you are already admitting defeat.

Second of all think if you are not using that as an excuse to not take action and change once and for all.

Everyone can change if they propose it, you will not change if you don’t want to, if you continue attending the same places, hanging out with the same people, tolerating your mistakes and making up excuses to be how you are.

Have you thought why it is that others manage to change and you are the only one that doesn’t? It is interesting, why some manage to change and others year after year continue in the same situation?

The answer is simple, the truth is that they don’t want to, they don’t make the effort and don’t take different actions, and they say they want to change but it is only in theory, just words. They don’t deny their flesh, their habits, and their behavior that is why they don’t see any answers, nothing happens.

Friends lets wake up to reality and see things as they are. You will only manage to change things when you propose yourself to it and take action, not when you say you will and promise it, or determining negative things.

I hope you never again speak these words, “I want to change, but I can’t”. Do you agree with me?

It is true Mrs. Tania, change is impossible in theory, it only sounds and seem easy but infact it's not. True change only happens when action takes place accompanied by determination.

For 5 years I have been saying this Mrs Tania, I want to change but I can't and so yes everything that you mentioned above it is true, I confessed those words I lived those words I used them as an excuse not to change, but it wasn't until I changed my way of thinking that I was and am able to change...

I totally agree with Mrs Tania. This message goes especially to the youth. they come to church almost daily and then after sometime they claim that there life is not being transformed. but the reality is that they have never made the decision to stop whatever they are doing and allow God to work and change their lives.

Its vey true Mrs Tania - a person can change only when they want to. The power is within us, when we change for the better - God is pleased and we become a blessing to others as well but with excuses that we can't change for sure things will remain the same as the are.

I agree with you Mrs Tania, it's like you say, if we continue confessing negative words about ourselves we won't see any changes in our life but if we do the oppossite which is take action we are going to see many differences and of course our life is going to change at all. Thank you so much for the message God spoke to me throught that message.
