The cry out

Hi dear friends, how are you doing? Today, I wanted to ask you this: Do you have a cry out stuck in your throat?

This past Sunday my husband preached something very interesting and I would like to share it with you. Read it with me: "Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.  And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Mark 10:46-48

Friends, let's see the situation of Bartimaeus: He was a blind beggar, his life was worse than almost everyone else's, was it not? He also had a cry out stuck in his throat, he could not take that situation anymore and when he heard people talk about Jesus, that He was healing and performing miracles, etc. There he saw his opportunity of being healed and free from that life. Pay attention to the verse where it says that he heard a noise coming from the crowd of people, he heard because he was blind not deaf lol, that it was Jesus coming and began to cry out. I imagine the scene: a blind man shouting in the crowd, maybe even facing the wrong way, but he did not care, he began to cry out, to draw Jesus’ attention. But what caught my attention was the fact that there were people in that crowd without love for their neighbor; because the same crowd were telling him to be quiet and they even rebuked him. And it was for these people to have a little mercy and take the blind beggar to Jesus and not scold him, don't you agree? But Bartimaeus did not even bother with these people, he continued using his faith, believing that his voice would be heard by Jesus; he literally ignored everyone around him and set his focus on Jesus and nothing else. Jesus seeing his faith, SAVED and healed him. Very strong, right?

But Ju, what does this have to do with me and my cry? Friend, you may be in a situation, that only Jesus can help you. And that cry is stuck in your throat because many people and situations, used by the devil, made you to be silent. Negative people, discouraging words, a difficult situation, and the faith to cry out, to go against the problem, discouraged you, all of that made you to be silent and so your cry got stuck in the your throat. A few days ago I made a very strong prayer at home because God showed me that I had to rebel against a situation and cry out too, and that's what I did. I cried out to God with all my strength and faith. And when I got up, I got up with the certainty that Jesus heard me at that instant. The devil wants to shut you up, by using people and situations that’s why we can not let him reach his goal. We cry out to God louder. Let's ignore the negative voices. Let's ignore the people that do not want us to cry out, because our testimony will silence many tomorrow!! But for that to happen, we have to use our faith, to get up from that prostration, in revolt against that situation and fight it, because  God is with us and Jesus is ready to ask us also: "What do you want me to do for you?". Friends this is to blow up hell,  to change your story. Don't let the devil shut you up, intimidate you or steal your faith, you can and WILL conquer whatever  you need, but you have to believe, now is the time to cry out and say Enough of this situation.
Share with us: Did a crowd make you to be quiet?  Have you been silent? Who stopped you? And what do you plan to do from now on?

A big kiss to all and until next week. Ah... In this month of  August that has just begun will be the month of our victory. Amen? Kisses
