“I’m an assistant and I’m engaged. When I started
dating, I wasn’t an assistant yet, but time went by and I felt the desire to
serve. My boyfriend is a wonderful person, respectful, we always talk a lot,
and God has placed within me the desire to serve on the altar. However, my
boyfriend isn’t really staying firm with God. I have talked to him, I actually
talk to him all the time but I’m tired and I love him so much. We were talking yesterday
when I unintentionally mentioned my desire to serve on the altar; he felt lost,
and he can’t stand to talk about this subject because he doesn’t want to become
a pastor. I don’t know what decision to make because I don’t want to affect my
spiritual life. I want to serve God and nothing else!”
Whenever we need to make an
important decision, we need to turn to God and to our intelligence. We can’t
put our future at risk, much less our spiritual life, because everything
depends on it. When a person gets married, she does it for life and therefore to
share her dreams; if one party wants something and the other one wants
something completely different, they won’t get anywhere.
The person who serves God has
her pleasure in spiritual things; if she gets married to someone who doesn’t have
the same vision of serving, the same desire, it won’t work out because both parties
have to want to go on the altar. In the above case, the guy doesn’t really suit
her because she serves God and he isn’t even converted, and apparently he isn’t
interested in that.
I know what I’m about to say right
now may seem radical, but when your salvation, your spiritual life is at risk,
you shouldn’t think twice, act before it’s too late. You want to serve Jesus, your
boyfriend doesn’t, then you have to decide what’s most important to you: him or
your desire to serve God. Girls let’s think! An unbeliever, no matter if he
attends church or not, will never be a good match for you who is converted; let’s
be honest, it’s not worth trying to force something that has no future. You can’t
force him to like Jesus but neither are you bound to stay with him.
Let's take a look at the word of
God, it has answers to all of our concerns and it’s very clear, that’s why I
love the Law of God:
“Do not be unequally yoked
together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with
lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14

This decision is tough for here as you've said think which is the most important to you..I actually understood why my past doesn't exist.

very powerful we can't risk our salvation by been yoked together with people with the a different spirit we should choose those who have the same spirit
God, salvation and serving on the altar comes first... If she leave the guy God will provide
