Do you give your best or is it the best?

What do you mean? I didn’t understand! I will explain.
How many are those that do or give their best, they make the effort to help at church, or the people, all of that is wonderful if all that you do coincides with all that you are.
How many in the doing appear to be a responsible, hardworking, zealous person but their interior isn’t always that way.
All the time and energy they spend on the doing, isn’t always used with the same intensity to “be” for God.
There never is time to stop and do a prayer, to read the Bible is always in a hurry, or when there is time there are other things that need to be completed, to meditate is impossible, work calls and it was all needed for yesterday. That is how the days go by, the weeks, the months and the person thinks that everything is okay because she is doing a lot, and they don’t notice that they are drifting away from God more and more.

My dear, the key word is balance, without it things don’t work out well, because you either end up to much to one side or the other and you will never find control.
So lets put priorities, the most important thing should always be in first place and everything else follows in proper order.
I am not saying that we wont do, even because we can’t give ourselves that luxury, since we have so many responsibilities and task to fulfill, but that can’t steal our precious moments with God, our personal search for Him, our meditation. Without it we can’t hear the voice of God and we will end up lost and misguided.
Be careful in hiding behind all the things we do, because your interior may be weak, cold, misguided due to the lack of investing in your spiritual life.
The work of God needs of people that work, but first of all of people that are strong spiritually, in communion with God, that way there will be fruit in the things that they do, did you understand now my dear?
So meditate in whether you have been what you have done for God.
Before anything else He wants you at His feet, He wants to be the first one in your life and the most important.
God wants the best of you and not the leftovers, think about it!

Thank you Mrs Tania. It reminds me so much of Mary and Martha and from now on I will always aim to be sat at Jesus ' s feet and invest more in my relationship with him.

It's really true because now I can see that there times I have been giving my God leftovers as I've been dealing with the assignments and end up tired, so to meditate I just dose off. It's a wake up call to priotise my time with God.

Thank you Ms. Tania for sharing. It's true, I need to balance my time though we have a lot of task to do but I need to prioritise the most important, giving time with God. Seeking His presence keep us strong spiritually.

The work of God needs people who work but first of all those who are spiritually strong, in communion with God, and in that way there will be fruits in whatever they do.

This is too deep. We really need to take care of our interior more than we actually nurse our exterior!

I've honestly never thought about it that way. Everything begins with my communion with God and the fruits will show based on that, It doesn't matter the quantity but the quality of what we do in our lives. Thank you so much for this post! It did open my eyes.

What you said here is so true mrs. Tania our communion with God is essential, because if we keep this strong we will naturally do the things of God and with pleasure. However if this is broken down we are no longer serving God in my opinion, but instead trying to do a spiritual work in the flesh and pleasing man. And we won't be able to bear any fruit like this because all that we do for God is spiritual as the bible says the battle isn't against flesh and blood. Like you said the level of intensity shown in our "doing" must mimic that of our "being"
Thanks
God bless xxx

Yes, Mrs. Tania. The most important thing in our lives is the presence of God. I can notice so much if I lack prayers or when I don't read the Word of God, I don't feel well. When our relationship with God is up, everything follows but also vice versa if we don't balance our time and make God the first at all times.

That's very true Mrs. Tania! Balance is very important to maintain.

Thank you!

What you mention in this post is very important Mrs.Tania .
Do many things does not make us women of God, but our communion with God.
Yes we need to be hardworking, but we have to learn to separate our time and never fail to take our time daily to maintain our communion with God.

Hi! Mrs. Tania, its true we must prioritize God first in our life. Even though how busy we are, we must balance our time. I've experienced that if I didn't read my bible in one day I noticed that my spirit become cold and if I didn't seek His presence in one day. Thank you very much for sharing this strong message.

Thank you Mrs Tania this is so powerful, yes we have to help and be busy in the work of God but first we have to take care of our interior ( spirit) because being is better than doing.Knowing my priority will help me balance my life.

Thank you Mrs Tania

It is important to keep our relationship with God no matter how busy we are because we may end up busy with the work of God and yet be so far away from him.

Thank you Mrs Tania for this strong message. As I am reading this message, I am meditating in it. Being a good employee, good daughter, good assistant at church but having bad relationship with God is all useless. I really need to balance.

To be is more important than to do,we cannot allow the things of this world to steal our time for God.We cannot read the bible in hurry and we must have time to seek God.God must always be our first priority, for us to hear the voice of God we must learn to have time to seek God and meditate on his words. The devil is using TIME to make us to be far from God

Very powerful Mrs Tania, thank you so much for sharing.I have been giving God leftovers in a way that i have been focusing more on my monthly tasks almost the whole night sometimes so what happens is that i sleep very tired and i make the Lords prayer or just dose off. I took some few days to meditate on this before commenting because i needed to see a change and share my side of the story.God comes first in everything,i have learned to balance because no matter i can try to be busy with my own staff, nothing can succeed if i do not involve God.i have learned a lot in this article<thank you for sharing Mrs Tania

Yes this is true Mrs Tania, God wants us fully commited to Him not to be busy, with other things that He no longer has an importance or priority in our daily lives...it is a lesson learnt that we need to put everything aside and just give God time, time for Him alone.

This post speaks volumes Mrs Tania and is exactly what I needed. When we invest in our interior, what we exude on our exterior natural blossoms and it's absolutely pointless having many responsibilities but being weak in our spiritual lives. The two must go hand in hand. Thank Mrs Tania x

Agreed 100% because this was me some months ago. I always had time to do do other things and i would put the meditation of the bible for later, seeking the Holy Spirit for later and everything was just crashing. I didn't know what was going on and then the Holy Spirit spoke to me saying all the time I put Him on pause and do something else but the most important is to communicate with Him and from then the relationship I have with God keep getting sweeter, I don't want to stop talking to Him.

This is very true and also a wake up call, to make sure that our communion is well with God.

willing heart.we must put God first and make him to be our first

This is an eye opener, mostly we get so occupied with our responsibility putting the most important thing aside or not giving the best so we can be the best. Thank you.

By reading this, makes me think that I can do much more for the things of God. Not in rush, but with time and balance. Without excuses, but with love and action.

Its very important to always prioritise our spiritual life - our relationship with God because all the other busyness will be in vain without this. Thank you for the post

This is true. I am assistant and have been now for two years. But before this, I used to serve for 8 years and in the beginning I really gave my best. I did everything right, helped a lot at church and made time for God. But then somewhere along the line I started neglecting my personal relationship with God, and the worst is that I did not notice. I started doing more physically thinking that it would compensate for the spiritual part as well. This was my downfall. I started falling away from God, did not notice the signs in my life that caused me to fall and before I knew it I was lost. Until one day God revealed Himself to me and gave me another opportunity to serve Him. Today, I still do the work of God but I always think of why I do what I do, is it to please people, to cover up guilty feelings or really because I want God inside my life. This has helped me analyse everything I do and understand why God called me. I now understand the verse "Watch and Pray, lest you fall into temptation."

Ladies, we need to be careful as servants of God. It's not easy, especially as youth in the work of God but we must pray and ask God to never lose focus.

In faith
Whaliza
