Does your appearance speak?

Whether we like it or not, our appearance speaks for itself. You can identify some people’s profession, mood and even character just by the clothes they wear. A person always shows outside what is within her through the clothes, the makeup, the hair and  as for us who serve God, there is no difference.
Many girls often ask about the way they should show up in church, the clothes that are appropriate and the way they should behave.

You must agree with me that our appearance says a lot about us. We may transmit zeal, holiness, harmony, care through it; we may also transmit all the opposite, sloppiness, neglect, disinterest.
There should be a syntony in this aspect; if your work is holy, then your behavior and your clothes should match your work.

Don’t forget that you will serve as a model for the women in church. You should be careful not to give a wrong idea through your image and make the people think that you are a sloppy person, with no motivation; someone who doesn’t like herself and therefore doesn’t care about her appearance.
Nowadays it’s very common to use jeans, they are actually very comfortable and match everything; but for our type of work, they are not the most appropriate as they are very casual clothes and our work requires something more social.
And I’m not trying to say that you have to dress up in an old-fashioned way or inappropriately to your age; no, you just have to dress up in a way that your image will reflect what is within you.
Just like your image, your behavior also speaks; people are watching us and we should be like a mirror to them, what you show through your actions reflects a lot about you.
The way you speak, your facial and body language, the way you walk, your smile reveal more than what you think.
These things may not seem as important, but we know they are, every detail is important in the work of God, so we must take care of the way we present ourselves and the way we act; it makes all the difference.

“For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God”
Colossians 1:9,10

Our appearance reflects the inside in a way, unfortunately people want to speak and be friendly with a person who is dressed decently. The world judge us.
