Hello my fiends, every Monday I
will be writing something that will help those that are taking their first
steps in the faith, or perhaps they have been in church for a while now but have
not been able to find Jesus. They are still in the sea of doubts, fears,
insecurities, uncertainties, etc. they want to surrender themselves but they
never manage to, they never take action.
That is why there is no spiritual
growth, they don’t receive the Holly Spirit, their faith doesn’t advance nor
their life with God, and it all turns into a problem.
To start I would like to talk
about the Word of God, it is our compass, it guides and directs us. Moreover it
fulfills itself in our lives.
“Do not be deceived,
God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For
he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to
the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

To me the word of God represent God's mouth, a powerful tool to guide me through in order to maintain my salvation, use it against all temptation that may come my way, it gives me wisdom to make right choices in life.etc
At some stage I had difficulties obeying some of the commandments but thank God I overcame and now yes I strive daily to obey the word of God.
Yes I read my bible more often, I can't say daily but two days will not pass without reading a chapter in the bible.
Again, sometime I go I would open the bible, read few chapters and truly speaking I wouldn't understand and that's when I got discouraged and wouldn't read it anymore. Today when I open my bible and meditate on the verses I'm reading,I get amazed with what God reveals to me, He speak in such a way that it's impossible not to think about that specific verse.

The word is my life my gps my food. Yes I do obey but am not perfect. I make sure it is daily before leaving the house in the morning. I try wake up at least 2 hours before so I can do time with God. It is a sacrifice.i mediate and ask the word to direct me on that day . I play the audio bible as well before bed time. I respect it more I have left my ex boyfriend whom I used to have sex outside marriage. I have left friends whom I used to gossip with. I hear the word and leave the sin behind. I stopped lying. I am work in progress.

to me the word of God is God month ,sword that destroy the works of the Devil ,the duration on how to take good decisions .it is difficult to obey but I do ,I do read ,almost everyday, when I pray before I read I can be able to understand but if I didn't pray I wont understand, I do have respect because I believe is God himself who speaks ,not a man.
