Beauty Stain Series – Envy

Hello friends, thought our series had finished? Certainly not, today we will talk about envy and how ugly it makes its possessor.
Have you noticed that the first murder committed in humanity was out of envy?
Yes, Cain killed his brother Abel out of envy, what a terrible thing, even more so when it comes to such bad feelings in the family bosom.

But let us see the stance of Jesus, let us look at the legacy he left us:
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”  John 14:12
Do you notice any envy here? By no means, see that being God Himself, He did not want to make a difference alone, He made it clear, and that whoever believes will make greater works than Him.
At no time did He say, you can do many things, but never more than I did, after all I am God.
Rather, He urges us to do more, not limiting His power, doing what he did and not stopping there.

Do not think that because you are of God you are free of feeling envy, the devil always tries but it is up to us to rebuke this kind of feelings that corrupt us within.

Notice if you have been envious of possessing what others have, for instance material possessions, clothing, position, beauty, attitudes, friendships, etc...
You can see that sometimes people defame, invent lies, they do not compliment you out of envy.

And have you ever felt envious or have been envied? Leave your comment!

Note: If you have not seen the video where I speak of the work of God, watch it here!

Kisses girls!

Thank you Mrs Tania. There is actually someone I was envious about, it was like she was getting all the attention from everyone and I used to rebuke that thought but it wouldn't go away so I became her friend so now I am free from that.

Thank you Mrs Tania, indeed there will be a time when our hearts are filled with envy but yes as you said, one should rebuke this feeling immediately and do the opposite of what she's been feeling.

Dear mrs Tania
Thank you for the message. envy is one of the acts of the sinful nature and once will live with envy inside us will not inherit the Kingdom of God. So if we want to be saved we should get rid of envy and not allow envy to control us.
Thank you
God bless you

Dear Mrs.Tania
This message is a great reality, envy is present everywhere even in heaven when Satan was jealousy of GOD's glory, and today the devil is trying to contaminate us with the same poison of envy, but if we are in spirit we always rebuke it, so that we may not be destroyed by it.

Thank you, Mrs Tania

In my experiences of envy, I saw the power in praying for God to remove the envy. Eventually, I am able to see the bigger picture of things. We should always praise God when His children are blessed because they are a testimony to believers and unbelievers. When we give way to envy, we share the same perspective as the devil; because he doesn't want to see the children of God blessed.

Envy is also sometimes not so obvious to us. In some cases, it took a while for me to realize that I was envying. But when we mock, make fun of, or criticize people; there could be an underlying envy hidden behind those thoughts.
