Abigail was now a widow, but God had not forsaken her, He had something special prepared for her.
On the other hand David was determined and sent to tell Abigail, that he wanted her to become his wife.
Abigail was sewing some clothes when her servant told her: "My lady, David's servants are here in Carmel and want to speak to you."
"Sure, have them come in," she said leaving aside the clothes and preparing to go to meet them.
The servants told her the proposal of their lord: "David has sent us to you, to take you as his wife."
Abigail was surprised by those words, but could not help feeling blessed by God.
she bowed down with her face to the ground and said, “I am your servant and am ready to serve you and wash the feet of my lord’s servants.”
Abigail quickly got on a donkey and attended by her five female servants, went with David’s messengers and became his wife.
Seeing her from afar, David knew that she had accepted his proposal and was pleased by her arrival.
Soon he made arrangements and David married her. Abigail was happy, she brought peace and harmony to David's house, on the other hand, he relied on her good sense, he knew he had beside him a woman full of virtues.

This story is awesome because it's the reality when it comes to many women's lives now a day. God is the only one that knows whois compatible for you. He is who chooses the best for you and both will be blessed tremendously.

I really enjoyed reading this Story about this Woman .her attitudes an actions are an example I want to follow ,I will be meditating more on her story because her Character is that of a Virtuous Woman
