Salt of the Earth:

I still remember the first rice I made for my husband when we got married, since I did not have as much experience in the kitchen, I forgot to add salt, and hum as you can imagine it was horrible, no one can stand to eat food without any salt.
He pretended, to not displease, but truly just couldn’t.
The salt is what gives that special taste, although it may have other seasoning, but without salt, it is not the same.
It serves to permanently transform, once placed in the food you cannot remove it anymore, and it also serves to preserve or delay deterioration, this if it is pure.
Now we understand better when Jesus said:
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” (Matthew 5:13)

This is the way a person is without Jesus, without salt, no life, no flavor, she cannot bring flavor in anyone's life, is not able to transform or change the environment, simply because she is not the salt of the earth.
But, is being the salt of the earth enough? Wait for our next article.

Dear Mrs Tania
What you have written is absolutely true, without salt our meals are often tasteless and it is impossible to even give compliments to the chef, because the food was not of its best taste.the same with us,if we do not have Jesus how can we save oru families and friends because it is through our own lives that they will see the glory of God and take the decision to turn to Christ.we should not lose our saltiness or else we are indeed just useless.

Thank you for the passage

those who have an aliance with God are the salt of this world, We pring hope, peace, love, we unite, change, and the list goes on. God gives that one missing element to this world cause he knows the devilhas nothing to offer to mankind.

We are the salt of the earth, we have to maintain that flavor by renewing ourselves each and everyday adding flavor to the earth.
