The great human battle is the
war between reason and emotion. What to do when your reason says one thing but your
emotion says another?
You are experiencing a
certain situation, in your mind you know what to do, but your heart screams for
something else and you get divided.
You had already decided to
give it in God's hands, to not be hasty and impulsive, but you ended up
listening to your heart and took control of the matter.
You behaved guided by
emotion and things went wrong, so bad that now you don’t know how to solve it!
When we decide to give things
in God's hands, we are giving Him control over the situation, but for this we
must TRUST. You know what’s best to do, however you have no patience, you don’t
trust that He will work it out the best way; perhaps you don’t want to wait for
God's time. You want to solve it here and now!
Yes my friends, giving a
situation in the hands of God requires you to keep your faith. Perhaps you will
not see the answer the next day, or the next month, but you know that He will
always do the best and at the best time.
If it has been so hard for
you, maybe it is because you still cannot trust or you always end up using your
heart instead of your reason; and that weakens your faith.
“Those
who trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be
removed, but abides forever.” Psalm 125:1
