The character of woman of God Series #5

Vengeance

Do you think we should revenge into our own hands?

When a person causes us pain, hurts us intentionally and on top of that diminishes us, should we do the same back to them? Of course not. Aren't you of God and don't you trust in His justice? Then, allow Him to act in your favor and place things where they belong. There is no need to worry.

If you choose to return evil to the person who did you wrong then what difference will there be between the two of you? None.

Look at what God says in His word:

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. (Romans 12:19 NIV)

Well then, don't worry; what people plant is what they shall reap. Don't waste energy trying to get the person to "pay" for all they have done, all you're doing is dirtying your heart. Leave it in Gods hands; He knows how to give them a good lesson.

"You Decide"

" A woman who used to be my supervisor at work, has humiliated and done me wrong many times. But now the situation is inverted and I am her boss now, and she is below me. This is my chance to get revenge of all the humiliation she has made me suffer, I'm still so upset, I could even fire her. Please, What should I do?"

Thank you for the message Mrs Tania; this series is really helping me. As for the "you decide" question, I will let Matt 5:20 answer: "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."

Oh my words I love this. My dear don't revenge at all do nothing leave it to God just as He said, believe me I have been worst and it was painful and I was humiliated did my flesh want to revenge yes it did but I remembered God was in control and I trusted and so should you, be the example and let God be in charge of the situation.
In faith.

Vengeance is such a horrible feeling. It can destroy someone's heart with hate etc. The best thing to do is always forgive, What i put in my mind when someone does something to me is when Jesus was crucified, he didn't hold anything against them but forgave them.
Also put things in God's hands

Vegence comes as a result of unforgiveness. It robes one of peace and slowly destroys a person.Vegence belongs to God at his own time and in his own way.

It is soo truee Mrs Tania vengence is not to be done by us but to be done by God and if I were in the scenario that the person was in first of all I would pray for God to clean my heart because honestly I would want to take the oppertunity to be spiteful to the person for everythink they have done. But God teaches us the opposite that we myst love our neighbours as much as we love our selves.
