What kind of heart do you have?

When asked about their inner self, people don’t normally say: I have a stony heart, my interior is corrupt and selfish, I hear the word of God but don’t keep it, I don’t have the intention to practice what I learn in the church, etc… regularly people try to hide these things and show that their heart is good and inclined to spiritual things. Let’s see the explanation of the parable of the sower, which is for those who are inside of a church, those who hear the word of God, maybe you will be surprised:
1-    The seed is the word of God. The one that fell by the wayside are those who hear the word of God, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart, so they won’t be saved.
These are those people who do not have an open mind to understand and accept the word of God, they are less receptive to allow it to transform them. What do we lose by the wayside? Something that has no value. For example, you have never found a diamond on the sidewalk. Let's say they are those who do not have much interest, they go to church out of habit or to please a family member, or perhaps religion. This type of heart will never be changed, simply because they do not let the gospel in. Then it is easy for the devil to steal the word.
2-   But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, he immediately stumbles.
They hear the preaching and get excited in the moment, they like it a lot, receive it with joy and satisfaction. However when they leave the church they forget everything, treating the word as something superficial. I mean, the Word does not deepen. Can someone plant a tree on a rock? You cannot because there's no way the root will deepen. So when all is well, she is apparently in the faith, but when problems and the hard moments come, they do not have maintenance and soon become discouraged and give up on their faith because they are spiritually weak.
3-          He who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
These also hear, but the things of the world has been talking louder, has shone more in their eyes; they give more attention to their carnal desires that does not allow God to work within. All this suffocates the word she received and therefore never comes to fruition. The thorns (sin), grow and involve them, when they realize it, they are trapped and cannot get out.
4-   But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit with perseverance.
And finally, the fourth part, are those who hear, keep and practice the word of God, have fear, which indeed bear fruit, grow, and develop. They are a true referential of God in this world. Unlike the earlier ones this heart keeps the word of God as something precious that cannot be lost. They let the word take root within them, does not let themselves be ruled by sin, but treats the word with fear and reverence.
Note that the sower (God) is the same, the seed (Word of God), is the same, what changes is the soil (the heart of people). Who will determine if your heart is or is not a good earth are your attitudes toward God, it will determine the results. Have you figured out what kind of heart has been yours? It depends on your life.
