Skin Mask:
Super moisturizing! Blend half of
an avocado with a drop of honey until smooth. Apply to your face and neck;
leave it on for about 10 min. Results in glowing, skin plus reduces redness and
inflammation. I try to do this at least twice a month!
Smoothie:
1 avocado,
1 glass of milk of your preference
(I use almond)
Mix in the blender until
consistency is thick and smooth. Great smoothie filled with good fats great for
your heart and other parts of the body too.
Personally I grew up relating
avocados to guacamole period. But once I heard about all the benefits, I just
couldn’t resist.
Other ideas:
Try using avocado as a spread on
you toast or sandwiches instead of butter or mayonnaise.
Avocados are a great source of
fiber, potassium and vitamins C, K, and B6. Half an avocado has 160 calories.
Tip: To prevent the avocado from browning just sprinkle a
little bit of lemon juice on the exposed flesh, and place it in a plastic
before you put it in the fridge.
