You had an idea or inspiration, then got so excited about what God had placed in your heart that you went around telling all of your projects, you are willing to start as soon as possible, but to your surprise, not everyone will support you, the barriers begin and it was like a bucket of cold water.
When we are willing to do something for God, the devil tries to stop the success of our mission; his intention is to make us give up, get scared and therefore quit.
Look what happened when Nehemiah decided to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem:
“ When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble —burned as they are?” Nehemiah :1,2
Do not think things will be easy, we know we will overcome, but the enemies will appear, there will be obstacles put by the devil and people will not always support or help you, but you should be firm in your purpose and go forward.
How many projects have failed along the way, a word that caused you a doubt, a lack of support made you get discouraged, or simply your own fears made you quit.
On the other side if you are enthusiastic, determined to continue and barriers or the lack of support discourages you will be stuck and never will be able to give a step forward.
Nehemiah went forward, he was not frightened by the words of the enemies and you?

this is indeed very true.Many people fail to do great things for God because they are surrounded by others who do not share the same values and vision as they do.The start off with a good idea and are discouraged by debt collectors, family members, other church members and even colleagues from work.We should never allow people to bring us down if we want to do something to please God, our mission is to serve God and not to please others.So lets get those ideas to work

whether you do good or bad, people will always talk, we should be more focused to hear the voice of faith for our succes/breakthrough given by the Holly Spirit..
Giving up is not an option at all.
This is like a person who wants to rebuild their life from how it was destroyed by sin, and in the process of rebuilding it they may encounter someone saying to them that they are wasting time and they will never change. So a person has to be looking out to be mocked and ridiculed by others if they decide to rebuild their life with God. As Nehemiah was determined we also have to be.
