Hey girls, how are you? Today I want to give some
tips for you not to be so easily deceived by the devil and for you to learn how
see his traps before it is too late.
Last week I talked about the Crushes of life,
that handsome boy of every girls dreams. But a lot of times that crush doesn't
move forward and that's good. But today I would like to warn you about those
famous crushes that began to pay attention to you. Oops!! All of a sudden that
cute boy gave you a peek. He gave you a smile. Now he even sits close to you
and trying to start a conversation. Out of nowhere he started to be interested
in you. Wow! what's going on? The most handsome kid in school is interested in
me? What is that? I imagine the little hearts pounding, sweaty hands, it is
hard to believe!! He was only interested in the most beautiful girls in school
and now he is looking at me? Wow, what a privilege, now I will be the most
popular and cool girl of the school.
(Pow!! I pupped the balloon) I am sorry girls, I
have to pup this balloon. Let us think a little bit. You decided to give
yourself more to God. You decided to seek the Holy Spirit, decided to be part
of the Godllywood group, you are serving more in the Church, participating of
the youth group and all of a sudden the boy (or boys) start to be more
interested in you. Suddenly everyone want to be your friend, you become
popular. Suddenly you get a lot of invitations to go to parties and all. How
come? Doesn't it seem weird all of this happening so, so fast?
That's how it is friends, the devil knowing that
you giving your life to God means a loss to hell, he knows that the more you do for God and get closer to
Him, the less chance he'll have against you. The devil knowing your potential
in the Work of God, he will soon prepare the easiest traps for young people to
fall: boyfriends, friends and popularity at school.
Can you
see his strategy? I will teach you something I learned and has helped me
a lot, I call it 10 seconds rule. When something happens to me, I just stop and
think for 10 seconds on what happened and ask myself, "What was that? What
happened here? Where this idea is coming from? Is it of God or the devil?
"And I think of all the answers. When we do this we are giving the
opportunity for God to speak to us and show us the truth. We are demonstrating
that we want to do the right thing instead of being guided by the deceitful
volatile heart. We're being humble to ask God for help not to displease Him.
For instance, when this cute boy begins to pay
attention to you, right away you have to
stop and think for 10 seconds (if you need, it can even be a minute lol) and
ask yourself: "Before no one would even look at me, why now? Before I was
bullied and now everyone wants to be my friend? Now that I gave my life to
Jesus more than ever, I have been
receiving a lot of invitations to go to parties, club, etc. Why? "When you
stop to think about those little questions, then God opens your eyes and you
can clearly see the devil's traps, trying to deceive you. This little secret of
10 seconds applies to all the areas of our lives, okay? Always question when
things try to divert you from God's ways. Don't
be silly or an easy prey to the devil, okay? Let us be wise girls. Keep
your focus on the things of God and trust that God has great and wonderful
things prepared for you.
Stop, think and listen to the voice of God, this
is the path to success.

What I can say that thank you, I will most definitely use the 10 seconds. This post helped me a lot it is what some of it i am currently going through. I have though at some point told myself "what a minute, why now all of a sudden?" It is for me now to keep on with it in all areas , not to think and just let it pass.
It is true what you say also that the devil knows the potential you have for God, so it to me to be alert and insist in the things of God, for me to give myself even much more than before and closer.

Smiles yes Mrs Tania you are so correct, it happens i will say if you being carried away with all of this, you will start withdrawing from the work of God you participated in at church. God will speak when He does listen go to meer a Pr wife or a female Assistants, if you are scared run to the Altar seek for God's help. Thats it

I learnt that the devil can use very small things to divert me from my christian life after surrendering my life in Gods' hands
