Salad dressings


Are you trying to eat more salads? Good for you! Now be careful with the salad dressings you buy at the super-market. Many of them contain excessive amounts of salt, sugar, and saturated fat. Try these three recipes as a healthier alternative.

Ranch dressing
1 cup of fat free Greek yogurt
¼ of olive oil
Minced garlic
Fresh parsley
Salt and pepper

Balsamic Vinaigrette
½ olive oil
¼ of balsamic vinegar
Minced garlic
Mix together with an immersion blender.
Salt and pepper at your preference.

Lemon Basil Vinaigrette
1 cup of Basil
½ cup of lemon juice
½ of olive oil
1/2 of red wine vinegar

2 tbsps. Spicy mustard
