Here are a few tips that might help
you when it comes to sunscreen.
How much is enough?
Normally all sunscreens have about
4 oz. So how long have you had yours? If it’s been over a few months, this
means you are not using enough!
When to apply it?
Apply 30 minutes before heading
out.
Which is best SPF 15, 30 50?
The recommendation is a sunscreen
with SPF 30. Above this you only get a 1-3 % more protection, not too
much of a difference.
What to look for?
Ingredients like Titanium Dioxide
and Zinc Oxide (will activate much faster.) Broad Spectrum. Always verify the
validation dates.
What to avoid?
Avoid sunscreens containing
ingredients like Parabens, Oxybenzone, and fragrance.
Always use sunscreen don’t rely on
the coverage your make-up offers. Remember to apply it on the face, neck (front
&back) and ears too. We normally don’t put makeup on all these areas, if
you do Congratulations!
This will avoid skin cancer,
sunburns, age spots, wrinkles and fine lines. So why not take the time for it.
