Leaving marks

Whoever follows me on Instagram or Facebook, knows that last Saturday I went to the wedding of a pastor that I have known since he was a little boy.
Actually, I am not here to talk about the groom but of the mother of the groom.
When I was an assistant, Mrs. Ana and Bishop Jose Carlos came to my church, where they stayed for a while, I must have been 18 years old.

Mrs. Ana would always have meetings with the assistants; she would pray with us, she would talk about the word of God, and sometimes she would ask us questions that we would have to respond in group. They were truly a blessing and those reunions left a mark in my life, they blessed me a lot!
The memories that I have of her are of a woman of God, sweet, comprehensive, discrete and she would always think of us.

After a while they left to other countries to do the work of God, we meet again after many years here in the United States and it was really good to see them again.

What I want to show with the picture and message of today, is that people leave their marks, we all leave a mark, unfortunately not everyone leaves a positive one, there are those that leave negative ones, that are also recorded in our memories.

Lets now think about the marks that we’ve left in the people that surround us, what mark do they remember, did the good things outperformed the bad ones, did they go unnoticed by the force of the good ones.

What trails have you left behind? Faith, comprehension, friendship, mercy, kindness. How do people remember you? As the troublemaker, unappreciative, selfish, rude, irritating and the list goes on…

Think it over, and know that people won’t always recognize what you did for them, or thank you for it, but know that the mark you left will remain in their memory forever.

What marks have you left?
Next Wednesday we will continue with another picture, I’ll wait for you here!

This post was short but strong. It reiterates the fact that I must fight everyday in order for me to make a difference in peoples lives and leave a mark. People may not have to like me, but they must be able to say that God used this young lady to leave a mark in my life, no body wants to be a tree that bears no fruit. The more marks I leave in their life isnt for my glory, but will help them grow closer to God.

Reading this article reminds me of something which I began to understand after an assistant here in the UK passed away unexpectedly. When he passed everyone who knew him said positive things about him. They all said how much he helped them. It makes me consider my ways and really think about whether or not I am making a difference in the lives of all those who know me and even those who I meet for brief moments. The mark I leave is important because it says a lot about me as a woman of God, as a Christian.
God bless,

This post reminds me of the 3 moments in my life. One was a normal day after work that I seen a homeless man and Decided to buy him a meal and tell him God loves him. The look in his eyes was priceless.

I always think about this topic when attending a wedding whereby people would speak about the couple, I would put my feet in their shoes and wonder, what would people say about me. I will fight to put a good mark wherever I am, to give the fragrance of my Lord.

I believe that everyone leaves a mark in eachothers lives, I think it's Gods way of talking to us when we don't want to listen to him or when we don't know how to listen. It could be something good or bad. Whatever it may be that mark is ment to teach us. So that we can help someone else.

Everyone leaves a mark and an impression, but as women of God we have to leave a positive one everywhere we go. This was a very strong post!

Thank you for sharing Mrs Tania, this reminds me one day when i was a leader of a youth, but my life changed and i moved in town to the nearest UCKG. People never said spoke about me while i was there, but when i left i could not help hearing them saying that i left a legacy in my previous region. You do not have to prove yourself to people but what is important is when they say God has really used that young lady. We have to be a tree that bares fruit. I am everyday fighting to leave a mark and spread the perfume of Jesus. Thank you for sharing.

You also left a mark in my life. It was really good. Your discretion is polite and respectful, just like God's. I learned a lesson for life.

This happened to me I need to be referred to by Pastor and his wife I was so surprised by the recommendations. I was shocked I was emotionally. In the past I was called all sorts of names.
God really set me free, as I watch how I act towards people.
