Holiness or pride?

The word holy means set apart for God. But how can you stay consecrated for the Lord in a world so full of corruption and sin?
Holiness is within us; without a holy heart, it’s impossible to live in holiness.
Whoever lives in holiness doesn't need to make efforts to practice good and justice, it’s something natural.
A person whose life is consecrated to God flees from sin, gossips, cliques, from everything that can interfere with her communion with God.
If you are pure, you will see everything with purity; if your heart is impure, you will be overly suspicious and you will see everything with malice.
To sanctify yourself everyday means to live a life according to God's will, to depart from sin and to submit your mind to the Holy Spirit.

On the other hand, there is pride which has nothing to do with holiness. You know the proud person is always arrogant and vain in regards to her deeds, she believes she's better and more important than others.
Normally, she believes she knows everything; she doesn’t accept a rebuke, much less to be taught by someone.
Apologizing, recognizing a mistake or humiliating herself are out of order, that would be too much for her.
Now, when can holiness turn into pride?
Let's analize; this person tries her best to please God but she starts to think that she is the holiest, she sees everybody’s mistakes and she can’t see hers, she lives apart from the others because she thinks she is superior in holiness and she doesn’t want to blend in. In this case, there is already some pride that is destroying her sanctity.
See the example of the Lord Jesus who is Holy but when He came to this world, He shared with the most criticized people by the society at that time; they were the sinners but the Lord Jesus wanted to save them, leading them to turn away from their wordly lifestyles. If we were to see, it was for the Lord Jesus not to get mixed up with anyone, but He is the greatest example of humility that any human being should follow.
Holy is to be set apart from sin, and when you have a "holy pride", be careful because pride is a sin, so how can you have a holy sin?

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”                                                      2 Corinthians 6:14

There are people who want to pretend that they are holy, perfect but they always end up showing who they really are.
It’s just for you to pay attention to their words and attitudes and you will soon realize that she is fanatic, she is scandalized by anything; everything is a sin, but she badmouths others, judges without mercy,  so where is the holiness?
She thinks she's so right, so holy, so perfect, that no one else is good enough.
We've seen people like that in the work of God, those are the ones who cause issues, division, those who spread gossips and who create trouble; in brief, they lack a real encounter with God.
Seek in God for a pure and genuine holiness, don’t be false or fake.

“but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,”
1 Peter 1:15

I used to be that person full of malice gossiping about people behind their back just full of poison doing the dirty work not realising am going to hell. It is only when a friend of mine was called was publicly humiliated infront of the church that I woke up to see we were one and the same person. I repented and never looked back. We are not close at all I don't hate but prefer we keep the distance.

Now when you gossip I just remove you from my mobile and never call again. I used to lie and say I just listen but don't answer but was feeding myself poison.
