Assistants in Focus Series 15 – Facebook

Facebook with more than 900 million users and without a doubt is the social networking site that has grown the most in recent years.
The problem isn’t in having a facebook page, but giving bad testimony through it, and unfortunately theirs assistants that are doing just that. We see people who say that they are converted or servants of God publishing or sharing improper things that do not please God, like insinuations of sex, swearing, messages that have double meaning, etc.
Have you been a reference of God, or have you embarrassed the name of Jesus?

Then we start to question ourselves, what is inside of these people, where is the spirituality, because the mouth speaks what the heart is full of, in other words publishing these carnal things is what is inside of them.
The person of God is concerned with their soul and others, she never wants to scandalize or deviate someone from their faith, not only does she care in keeping her heart but also in not dirtying someone else’s heart.
Be careful with what you have shown about yourself, what example you have given to all your facebook friends or any other social network.

Task: You are going to analyze in what you have published on your facebook, if you have friends that publish bad things on your page you are going to delete that person, to protect your faith. You are going to read the post very well before clicking “like”, or “share” and the same in relation to your comments.

what a message Sra. Tania, thank you so much

Facebook is a serious thing with whatever you post and share. Everybody is looking you, thant's why we have to be careful with the words we say and how do we say them. To many people facebook have lift them up, or let them down. Whatever we do in it, it's relfecting a lot on how we are and do.

Thank you for the post Mrs. Tania, the advise you gave is applicable to everything, what I say anywhere is a reflection of what is inside of me. This series is very helpful, thank you.

Dear Mrs Tania

True what we say on facebook is who we are, who ever write there writes what is coming from the heart, so as Servants of God we need to be examples and not put the name of Jesus in shame after all we are called to save and not to destroy.

Hello Mrs Tania,

This is very true. We can be a bad testimony through Facebook. I recently analysed my social networks and I had things from the past that I never deleted. I changed got rid of what does not represent me, but this is something that I will continue to be aware.

I go to look at Facebook to see what is in the heart of the person now. It truly exposes us.
