It's time to talk about a subject so controversial
that seems to soften the ears of men, but drops like a bomb in women's ears.
First let's see what God's word says about it, after
all our faith and obedience are placed exclusively on it.
“To be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home,
to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the
word of God. ..." Titus 2:5
“Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own
husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over
without words by the behavior of their wives…" 1 Peter 3:01
Being submissive does not mean that women are less
important than their husband, or that he has the right to step on her or make
her a slave.
God made clear the position of both in marriage: man
must love his wife as himself, which involves everything good, what he does not
want for himself, he does not want it for his wife. As mentioned in the
previous article, love is care, respect, protection and love.
As for the woman, God commanded her to be submissive,
and that includes respect and non-humiliation as many think.
Let's look at practical terms, for example, if all in
a country or in a company wishes to give orders and have the last word, how
would it be?
A tremendous confusion and disorder, things would not
move forward and there would be constant fights, each defending their point of
view.
When the people choose a President, it is giving that
person the power of leadership, could anyone else give orders? No.
This also happens in marriage, God chose the man to be
the leader of the family, could the woman lead instead? No.
This involves many obligations, besides being the
protector he is the provider it’s his responsibility.
Now imagine if they both want to have the last word
and show no respect for anyone, there would be constant fights until it ends in
divorce, because no one can bear to live that way.
I support women to study, to work, to develop, all
this is good and we have the ability to be a wife, mother, and homemaker.
But in marriage she must know the position God, and
not I, determined for her.
Some women wonder, but I have to be submissive in
everything? What’s the limit for submission?
Friends, think wisely, of course not. If your husband
tells you to do something wrong, something that hurts you as a human being,
something that goes against your faith and obedience to the Word of God, of
course you do not have to obey.
Do not forget that above your husband there is God.
When God speaks about being submissive, is to respect
your husband, not wanting to step over him, within the parameters of the Bible.
If he treats you like God commanded, and you too,
everything will flow and the marriage will be a bit of heaven.
If he does not treat you as God ordered, then value
yourself and take an attitude.
There are women that put up with everything their
husbands do, betrayal, abuse, contempt, that is not submission, is the lack of
self-esteem; to know how to value yourself, this applies to both sides, men and
women.
We know that there are cases that the power of faith
transforms, we have many testimonies, but it is necessary that the person knows
to act and know the limits of the situations.
Being submissive is not being a slave, it’s to know
how to respect the authority established by God in marriage.

Really when the woman is submissive to her husband in the word of God, marriage is a blessing and God bless her, because she is obeying His will.
This was so hard for me to understand submission, I always thought SLAVERY, i hated this verse in the bible. satan had blinded me when it came to submission to God thru my husband.
