Servant or Lady?

When the person was called to do the work of God, she was in the condition of a servant.
The words were always “Here I am Lord,” “May your will be done in my life, My God”, “Wherever the Lord sends me, I will go.”
But aside from that she enjoyed serving others, she would do it in a good mood and she did not care if others did the same with her or if they appreciated or recognized her services, it did not bothered her, she was doing it for God.
But over time things change, that spirit of a devoted servant died little by little, the pleasure of serving disappeared and the joy of helping now seems a burden.
At the opposite of before, now she wants to impose her own will, choose what she thinks is best for herself, serving others is part of the past, now she wants to be served, after all the years have passed and she believes it is her turn to be served, may they do for her what she once did for others.
If she is transferred to another place that she does not like, she doesn’t think  twice about saying that she won’t go, if she can avoid serving or helping someone, she won’t hesitate, what is important is not to leave the comfort zone.
What once was a pleasure now represents a heavy burden, now she wants to stay with the position of “lady” and not a “servant”, the expression changed completely and now she says, “It’s my turn to be served, let them work!
This keeps her away from the blessings of God, for He can’t count on her anymore, since she wants to occupy the position that belongs to God.
Then she begins with an emptiness, she feels that she is not used by God as before, He seems to be far and does not considered her when giving responsibilities.
The problem is that she is no longer available for God, she decided that she doesn’t want to be a servant, she choose to be a lady and God only uses those who are His servants.
What have you been a servant or a lady?
“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me” (John 12:26)

Dera Mrs Tania,

Indeed God chose us to serve him, but unfortunately many over time cease to serve their master, to serve the own self.
Thank you!

A true servant of God does not work for their own gain but they work to please God and do his will with pleasure. Those who are true will really remain until the end no matter what may come their way.
