It’s been raining a lot here in Miami the past few days, and on Sunday we were able to admire a beautiful rainbow that appeared through the clouds, and it reminded me of the promise God made to Noah:
“I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.”
“Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the covenant I am confirming with all the creatures on earth.”
-Genesis 9: 13,17
Just like God is faithful to remember and fulfill His promise until today, He is faithful to pour out the Holy Spirit over all who seek Him, because it’s His promise to us.
Read the following verses, God doesn’t favor anyone, the promise is to all, believe and you shall receive.
“Then, after doing all those things,
I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike.”
-Joel 2:28,29

Wow...God makes absolutely no distinction! no matter your background, your past or even your capabilities. His promise is infinite. We just have to receive it as He has already given!
Sometimes, we think that we have to qualify to recieve the Holy Spirit, that we need to have a certain skill or characetrtistics. God doesnt request for anything from us other than our sincerity to recieve the Holy Spirit. The promise has already been written, just open our hearts and we shall receive it.
relating back to when God said,“I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.” i can really relate to this because one day i was going through such a tribulation in my life and i remember that day very well i was standing outside my house feeling so discourage but when i looked into the sky there before me was two rainbows and i remember very well that rainbow stands for God's covenant. when i saw that i knew that God was watching me and that He is true to His word.

God will never disappoint us, his hands are always open to receive us, so its upon us to do our part for him to do his part too, for he said he will make a difference between those who serve him and those who do not
There is no promise God has failed to fulfill, He never disappoints us can we say the same?
