Thoughts, feelings, insecurities, and fears bombard us at all times. The list is long and scary, without a doubt, the greatest war to overcome is the one inside of us. To overcome your self requires sacrifice, determination and the strength to surrender.
To overcome our will and desires, and to surpass the bad thoughts, the bad eyes, to remove the hatred, the anguish, and not to mention strong character, which has been a stumbling block for many, is not easy; The natural response some give with a long face when they don’t agree with something, it’s something that has simply become uncontrollable for some.
Being able to dominate and control your own impulses is a true battle.
How to win the battle from within?
Those of you who are truly eager to do the will of God and please Him in everything take awareness of this battle between the flesh and the spirit and the spirit and the flesh that we face everyday, the strongest shall win.
In the word of God it says, “ …For you are a slave to whatever controls you.” 2 Peter 2:19b
“Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city.” Proverbs 16:32

Its true that to overcome ourselves takes sacrifice. Sometimes it's easier to overcome the devil than ourselves.
The battle from within! It is the biggest arena of Christian battles! It is something only God can look into, no man can see what is inside of us. Every inner struggle we overcome is a victory high-priced by God himself since He is our only Witness. And surely, He is the ones who gives the blessings after the victory is won! - Melody, UCKG Philippines

Its so true! Everyday is a constant battle!.. The battle from within is what most Christian goes through. It takes sacrifice to overcome our selves.. I remember when i first started taking things of God serious, i was bombarded many times by those negative thoughts, negativity and many more! But thanks to God he delivered me from all of it!. Really touching!

"Taking awareness of the battle within" I think are the key words in this blog. When you realize that your reaction to a situation is not pleasing to God, you must take a step back and say I can either react according to what I want, to what will please me or I can react according to what God wants, to what will please him. A lot of times we allow our anger, or anguish to blind us and not let us see what is really going on. And if this keeps happening we become slaves to this messy behavior. Praying and fasting for our innerself to be on the same wavelength as our Lord to do and think as He did is very important. I always ask myself would Jesus have done this, or said this or reacted this way. Thanks for this blog Mrs. Tania
This is true Mrs, because if we let our hearts rule over our lives then we wont be able to think straight and overcome.
